FAQ: What happens if I bail someone out and they get deported?

What exactly happens when our loved ones get deported and they are out on a bond?

When you bail someone out, you are liable for them to go to court until the case is done. If that person is not a U.S citizen there is a possibility that he or she might get deported, every case is completely different.  However, the indemnitor (person responsible for the the bail) still holds all responsibility to pay for the debt.
